OUR STORY

Sweet Fit VI gives good vibes.

The concept of our fitness studio was developed out of a passion for fitness and wanting to share that love with others in our community. Our mission is to motivate people of all ages and abilities to come together and achieve their fitness goals, and have fun while doing it! 


We are a fitness studio offering a variety of group fitness classes including indoor cycling, strength training, HIIT workouts, dance fitness, yoga and stretching. Private 1 on 1 sessions and private group sessions are also available upon request.

 CHERESE DANIEL-ADJODHA 

In January 2018, I decided to take control of my health, body and overall well-being. Along with healthier eating habits, I started indoor cycling & fell in love! I eventually started cycling 3-4 times a week, and developed a new passion for fitness and wanting to share that passion with others! Cycling gives me the opportunity to clear my mind, zone out for about 45-60 minutes & focus on my ride! In the process, I've lost weight (45 lbs & counting), I'm healthier and most importantly, I feel good on the inside! I'm very thankful to the supportive team of women who encouraged and inspired me to be Great and Keep Pushing!
As an ACE Certified GFI and a Certified Cycling Instructor, I promise to keep your classes fun, motivating & entertaining with feel good vibes! You will work hard and get in shape all while listening to some great tunes! (I also take song requests 😉). Will you join me on this Fitness Journey at Sweet Fit VI? I hope that you will. Let's do this together and become the best version of ourselves in 2024 & beyond.

ANYA CASTOR

For years I struggled to find a cardio workout that I actually liked (or that I could stick with). Early 2018, a friend invited me to an indoor cycling class and I was hooked! Indoor cycling gives me the burn I want while making me feel really good about myself.  I am a Certified Cycling Instructor at Sweet Fit VI and I'm excited to share what I've learned along my journey with everybody. My goal is to inspire you and to get you excited about Fitness! My classes are Challenging and Fun, and will leave feeling motivated, energized and ready for another session.

DIANA BOWEN

Diana Bowen has been an educator and coach for over 15 years and she is currently an assistant professor of mathematics at the University of the Virgin Islands and a volunteer and advocate for community swimming programs. Diana is a lifelong athlete and she enjoys a variety of sports including swimming, snorkeling, hiking, sailing, triathlons, and cycling. She coached high school swimming, summer swimming, synchronized swimming, and taught beginning rugby classes and swim lessons before her work at Sweet Fit. Her Tone It Up class combines a series of movements set to music and takes Diana back to her time as a choreographer for synchronized swimming and colorguard. Diana spends almost all of her free time outdoors except when she is losing to her ma in competitive scrabble, training her adorable pup Darla, or planning her next big adventure. Diana also enjoys competing in open water swims and she looks forward to her next race!

VICTORIA LEWIS

Victoria attended her first cycling class in 2015 and has been hooked ever since. Originally from Connecticut, she has lived in several cities all over the world. At the beginning of 2021, Victoria came to St Thomas to visit family and never left! She enjoys being active and takes advantage of the beautiful island weather to be outside as much as possible. At the start of the pandemic, Victoria began practicing meditation and is learning to incorporate it in her everyday life - especially when she’s at the beach. She loves sports and plays volleyball, spikeball, surfs and recently picked up tennis.
Join this certified cycling instructor for a heart-pumping, energetic Spin Express every Thursday at 12pm! If you enjoy sprinting and upbeat music, Victoria’s class is for you.

CHLOE ROSEY

Chloe was born and raised on the beautiful island of St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands. In her younger years she did sports like cross country, softball, flag football and cheerleading. Graduating from Savannah College of Art and Design, she pursued passions in freelance design and production design. At that time, she worked at world renowned recording studios and alongside award winning artists, while still maintaining a career in luxury sales.


Moving back to the Virgin Islands, Chloe picked up new hobbies and favorite past times. Fundraising for Cancer Support VI, indoor cycling, weight lifting, basket weaving, herbalism, boating, hiking and spending time with her new baby boy are all at the top of the list.


As a certified indoor cycling instructor, Chloe enjoys high energy music, rhythm riding and using high gear to climb those booty making mountains! She is so very excited to now be a part of the Sweet Fit Family, can’t wait to ride with you!

FRANCISCO ARIAS

Introducing Francisco, our new spin instructor who brings a fresh wave of energy to our fitness community! Francisco currently works for the Department of Education and has lived in St Thomas since 2022. 
Francisco has been a spin enthusiast for more than a decade and he fell in love with riding when he experienced the transformative power of rhythmic riding. With a keen eye for form, a heart full of positivity, and a soundtrack that will keep you pedaling to the rhythm, Francisco is here to guide you on a fitness adventure like no other. In Francisco’s classes, expect more than just a workout – anticipate a rhythmic journey that synchronizes mind, body, and beat.  Francisco believes that there is a difference between working out on the bike and dancing on the bike ;)
Whether you are a seasoned spinner or a first-timer, Francisco creates an inclusive and encouraging environment where everyone can thrive.

KIMBERLY RILEY

Please join us in welcoming Kimberly to the Sweet Fit instructor team! Kimberly was a dancer from being just a little girl and did ballet for over 10 years. Fitness in her 20s became a big part of her life. She decided to go back to her dancing roots and become a Zumba instructor. She taught many classes for about 8 years. She then decided to go back to her ballet roots and teach Barre. When Zumba became a bit too much on her knees, she found spin to be her new love. Joining Sweet Fit when she moved here 4 years ago was the best decision she made! Be ready to burn out those muscles in Kimberly's Barre classes! And if we are lucky, she may do some pop up Zumba. ;)

Sweet Fit VI offers a weekly schedule of classes for every fitness fan. Whether you want to dial up the intensity or take a more relaxed approach, we’ve got a class with a spot just for you. Create your own personalized schedule by choosing the classes that suit your needs.

BEGINNERS CYCLE

If you're new to Indoor Cycling, this is the class for you! We will teach you the basic moves and body positions while still providing a great workout! You can go at your own pace until you gain your strength and stamina and become more familiar with the exercise! Once you master the spin learning curve, you'll be pushing yourself harder and grooving to the rides like a pro! 
Please arrive 5-10 minutes early for bike setup.

EVENING SPIN EXPRESS

Leave the stress at the door and get ready to unwind in a 30 minute spin class. We will include a brief warm-up and cool-down, and lots of fun while we sweat. You will leave feeling refreshed!

SPIN MASHUP

Tabatas, weights, jumps, sprints, hills, isolations... we've got it all packed into a 45 minute ride. This class is a mix of cardio and interval training with a combination of weight training for the upper body. A fun and energetic class for any fitness level that improves endurance and strength.

SPIN POWER HOUR

Start your week off the right way! This 60 minute cycling class blends power, speed and strength on the bikes. You’ll be challenged to climb, sprint and jump all to the beat of great music.

Intense Training

HIIT ME UP!

HIIT Me Up is a full body workout. The class is a rigorous interval training sequence with high intensity exercises. It builds cardiovascular fitness while improving muscle strength and endurance. The class combines resistance training with plyometric moves to improve your strength and power.

BUNS + BANDS

This class focuses on the lower half of your body and it is designed to help you build lean muscle mass, as well as “toning” your thighs and derrière! Each week we focus on workouts that will challenge you and hit all the muscles of your lower half in all planes of motion. Not only will your aesthetics improve, so will your overall strength and endurance! We strive for progress, not perfection. If you’re a beginner and need to do less rounds and less repetitions, it is okay. Keep it up and you will only get better week by week!

CORE & STRETCH

A full body recovery that will focus on improving core strength and increasing flexibility. All fitness levels are welcomed to stretch!

Need an escape after a long day? Join us for some SOCA FITNESS FUN on the bikes... and a cocktail after class if you like. All fitness levels are welcomed.

TONE IT UP

Get toned to the beat of the music! You will use light to moderate weights with lots of repetition to tone and shape muscles in your ENTIRE BODY! Diana's 45 minute class is perfect for every fitness level.

MORNING SPIN

Morning Spin is designed to get you in & out in 40 minutes! An early start to your day on the bike that will leave you feeling refreshed & energized.

Core Exercise

HOURGLASS ABS

This class will focus on strengthening your abdominal muscles and shrinking your waistline. It will also help to improve stability and good posture. All fitness levels are welcome!

B FIT (BARRE)

Barre is a toning, body-weight lifting workout that's inspired by elements of ballet, yoga and Pilates. High repetitions and small, low-impact isometric movements will engage muscles deep inside your body that you normally wouldn't target! Kimberly's barre class is perfect for all fitness levels.

FOREVER YOUNG SPINNERS

For our mature adults who are ready to get on the saddle. It's a low-intensity indoor cycling class that will focus on moving at a comfortable pace. It's also a great recovery ride for anyone who wants to attend!

FULL BODY BURN

Get ready to work hard and leave feeling strong! This is a FULL BODY, fat-burning circuit-style class with weights, resistance bands and other fun activities to engage your muscles and keep your heart pumping.

WHAT ARE THE HOURS OF OPERATION?

Our studio only opens to facilitate our class sessions. Please visit our registration page to track those times. While we do not have strict hours of operations, we can always be reached via email: info@sweetfitvi.com and/or (340) 626-9942. We also encourage you to check our social media accounts to follow our journey and catch the good vibes. 

DO YOU OFFER A TRIAL MEMBERSHIP IF I’M NOT SURE THAT I WANT TO JOIN?

Yes! New students can take advantage of our 1 week trial pass for only $50. With this pass, you can try as many classes as you like within 1 week.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING TO CLASS?

Bring good vibes, your ‘can do’ attitude and, maybe, your exercise buddy. Our studio offers plenty of amenities to facilitate the best session possible, including face towels, water dispenser, yoga mats, hand weights and exercise bands. We, however, strongly suggest that you bring a full towel for Hot Pilates sessions. Feel free to bring along any other items that would make you comfortable and motivated. Many of our Sweet Fit family wear smartwatches to monitor their progress and track their goals. You can too!

ARE YOGA MATS PROVIDED?

Yes, along with other yoga essentials including blankets and blocks. Still, if you have a favorite yoga mat, bring it along. It’s all about creating the best zen for you.

DO YOU NEED SPECIAL SHOES FOR CYCLING?

Need? No. Our bikes have dual capability. This means you can wear either athletic sneakers or cycling shoes with SPD cleats. Most of our Sweet Fit family get a great workout using their everyday sneakers. Whichever footwear you choose, you will have great results.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Dress comfortably in athletic or athleisure clothing. All sizes, styles and colors are encouraged. Our studio is body positive. We pride ourselves on accepting where you are today and encouraging you to be a better, healthier being tomorrow.

IS WATER PROVIDED?

Yes! We have a water dispenser available for you to stay hydrated before, during and after your sessions. Bring along your own water bottle or purchase a Vital Proteins 20oz tumbler for $15.

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE FOR CLASS?

The start time for each class is posted at registration. We kindly ask that you adhere to these times and be punctual. If you are new to our studio, we suggest that you arrive 5-10 minutes prior for a brief orientation of the studio, instructor and equipment.

DO YOU HAVE A SHOWER AT YOUR FACILITY?

Yes, we have a shower along with amenities (bath soap, shampoo & conditioner) for your convenience. Please bring a towel and you're all set.

DO I NEED TO HAVE A RESERVATION IN ORDER TO ATTEND A CLASS?

Reservations are required for early morning (i.e. 8:00am and earlier) sessions and must be made by 10:00pm on the previous day. If there are no reservations by then, the class will be cancelled. For example, if you want to attend Monday's 5:45am Morning Spin, be sure to reserve your spot by 10:00pm on Sunday.

Mid-morning and evening sessions may be able to facilitate walk-ins but we still strongly suggest that you make a reservation to guarantee your spot.  

IF A CLASS IS FULL, CAN I GET ON A WAITLIST?

Of course! When you attempt to make a reservation for a class that is full, the system will ask if you would like to be placed on the waitlist. Respond "yes". You will then receive an email if, and when, a spot opens up. This email will be sent to everyone on the waitlist, so be sure to login as soon as you can and confirm your reservation.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I REGISTER AND I CAN’T MAKE IT TO CLASS?

If you are unable to attend a class that you have registered for, please cancel as soon as you can. You will not be penalized if you cancel at least 2 hours prior to the start time of the class. If you do not cancel at least 2 hours prior to the class start time or if you are a no-show, you will be charged for the class. If you have an unlimited pass, 1 day will be deducted from your pass.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I’M RUNNING LATE FOR CLASS?

If you reserve in advance, please be punctual. If you’re running late, please call or text to let us know. If you are tardy more than 5 minutes, without notice, your slot may be released to another member on the waitlist.

IF I PURCHASE A CLASS PACKAGE, CAN I SHARE MY CLASSES WITH A FRIEND?

Passes and class packages cannot be shared between members.
